An experienced educator, healing guide, writer, content developer, trainer, and mentor. Her journey has been shaped by extensive work in public schools, trauma and resilience, embodiment, dance, and healing arts. She is dedicated to creating experiences, and nurturing practices that serve expanded consciousness and love. Erin created Sacred Being Yoga to honor the sacredness in all humans through the experiences of yoga, embodied healing, resilience, connection, and mindfulness. Erin is committed to supporting her fellow humans on their spiritual journey, and working for social justice and equity.

Trained in school-based mindfulness practice, restorative practices, non-violent communication, and trauma-informed therapeutic yoga.
᪥ Began studying, practicing, and teaching yoga and mindfulness in 1996.
᪥ Held an internship at Olympia Community Yoga Center where she served youth, seniors, and brain trauma survivors.
᪥ Completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Fit in 2005.
᪥ Earned a 300-hour trauma-sensitive yoga teacher certification from Grand Rapids Healing Yoga in 2018.
᪥ Obtained an additional 300 hours of training in yoga therapy practitioner from the Body Mind Being Institute in 2020.
᪥ Served as a lead teacher for the Trauma-Informed Yoga Educator Certification and the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Body Mind Being Institute for the past 3 years.
᪥ Guided trauma-sensitive yoga practices for trauma survivors in group and individual sessions, as well as community yoga classes.
